Dan Eisenman is an experienced coach, facilitator and consultant. He specializes in leader and team development, focusing on the impact of emotional intelligence and critical thinking – the idea that all emotion is useful data providing a competitive edge once properly interpreted. Along with E.I., thinking strategically and systemically form the core of a leader’s long term capabilities, which means thinking critically, analyzing and challenging assumptions.

Dan has over 28 years of leadership and training experience in healthcare, the military, retail, cruise, fire service and insurance industries. For 14 years Dan has aided physicians and staff in nearly all of the healthcare environments from ER to OR, Clinic to Executive Administration, all centering on leadership skill and effective interpersonal communication. With leadership experience as a military officer and as a retail manager, along with 15 years in the insurance industry, he has a broad perspective.

Dan is a Certified Performance Improvement consultant with extensive experience building high performance teams. He is professionally certified as a Leadership Coach and works with leaders at all levels. He has been a guest speaker with the Northwest Communication Association and has spoken twice at Association for Talent Development, (formerly ASTD), International Expos in partnership with a world-renowned expert on critical thinking.

In recent years, alongside the Healthcare Leadership Institute work, Dan has operated as an executive coach and advisor for the Virtual Health programs of two major nationwide healthcare systems, physician coach and advisor to a large cardiovascular surgery practice, HR Manager within a major northwest medical group, and private personal communication coach to over two dozen individual physicians and physician executives. He is also part-time contract faculty at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
